A Simple, But Important, Answer to Prayer!

Thank God for the blessing of 

better temperatures!

      I want to say, "Thank You!" for your recent prayers.  I had mentioned that the temperatures in this part of India were hovering between 110 and 118.  Literally hundreds of people have died due to the heat across the state. 

 

      I asked you to pray for me during this time of ministry.  Yesterday and today it has rained very hard (during dry season!) and the temps came down to 95 yesterday and today 90!  Praise the Lord!  It is wonderful how God is so gracious in even the simplest parts of life.  Thank you again for your prayers.

      Pastoral training today (Pastoral Ethics: A Biblical Guide to How a Pastor Should Conduct Himself and His Ministry) began with a problem. Yes, another wonderful problem! We came hoping for 100.  Actually, 200 showed up! So, water in the soup, another chicken in the pot, etc. We tried them all. And we turned up the volume on the speakers, too! 

     I cannot thank you enough for your prayers. God has been helping us and we are so grateful to Him and to you. I just want you to know that your prayers really are effective and appreciated. Continue to believe God for a mighty move of the Spirit among the pastors and churches here in India.
