Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things?

Beyond Frontiers newsletter is
now in the mail!  Be watching
for this informative letter about
the powerful move of God going
on now in India.
The words above are the words of the Lord God through Isaiah the prophet.  The proposal was that a woman brought forth a child before she travailed, before she suffered labor pains.  Of course, we all know the absurdity of this.  It doesn't happen that way.  Sorry, ladies, but it it just won't turn out that way for you next time you are expecting!

I recently helped a dear friend deliver a calf that struggled, but neither he nor his mother had strength to bring him to birth.  In all my life, I've never seen an animal have such a difficult time with a birth.  I prayed desperately for the Lord to help both mother and baby.  I thought for sure that it was an impossible situation unless God worked.  And He did.  After such pain, such agony, such exhaustion, the baby came.  I was so thankful.  But it hurt.  Terribly.

In recent months we've been witness to a much, much greater miracle of life.  We've seen the miracle of new spiritual life.  We have watched in total amazement as God Himself has brought to birth so many souls into the Kingdom!  God has done what no man can do.  He has been saving souls and delivering men and women from darkness into the glorious light of the Gospel.

However, all of this has not been without pains and travail.  We've seen God literally give birth to entire congregations (small, local groups of brand new believers).  This is due to the fasting, the prayer and the hard work of hundreds of workers who have given themselves to the exhausting work of evangelism in the crude villages of central, southern India.

The incredible heat that almost takes your breath away, is increasing daily.  The opposition of Hindu hardliners is inescapable in some areas.  And the bone-grinding travel on Indian roads and dirt trails can almost make you feel as if you might not awaken if you ever get to go to sleep.

Yet, births are happening.  Babies are everywhere.  Spiritual children who don't know the difference between their right hand and their left metaphorically, are all in need of milk, the sincere milk of the Word.  Many have no place to meet for services since their homes are tiny, one-room hovels scattered across the plains of India.

And still they are being born.  How do we minister to so many?  How do you give each precious soul the time and concern that they desperately need and crave?  And where will the Pastors come from to take care of them and shield them from the ravenous beast going about as a roaring lion seeking to devour them?  It can seem overwhelming sometimes.

But have no fear!  This is the most wonderful dilemma I've ever encountered, I believe.  It is faith-stretching.   It causes you to ask for greater insight and more clear direction than you have ever had before.

From now until August I'll be meeting hundreds of pastors to train them in the things of the Lord.  Many of these men are doing double, and triple duties pastoring.  They have their own flocks (sometimes two or three!), and now they are trying to shepherd these new babies all around them.  Would you please pray and ask God to send us a powerful outpouring of the Holy Ghost?  Would you also join us in prayer for the hundreds of new believers who are trying to find their footing and are desperate for help from the Lord?

I'm so glad we have our Heavenly Father we can call upon in times like these.  He knows all there is to know about the feeding and caring for helpless souls.  These are His children.  I know that He will take personal responsibility for their many needs!

Thank you.  Praise the Lord for His wonderful work in India!

As stated above in the photo caption, the newsletters have been in the mail now for a few days.  You should be receiving yours soon.  We are seeing some incredible delays in mail both outbound and inbound.  Recently we've had letters mailed to our ministry address that have taken three weeks or more to arrive.  Please be patient, but if you don't receive your newsletter within this week or the first part of next week, let us know.  If needed, we will be happy to send you another copy.

May God bless you,

Beyond Frontiers
