Abandoned Property, Rightful Owner Returning Soon!

An abandoned house and lot.  These are the source of all kinds of trouble.

     If you had to go away for a few years, would you consider asking a community of unscrupulous loan sharks, drug dealers and killers to take care of your property?  Would you give them free reign of the place?  That's what I thought.  Me neither.

     But, that's exactly what God did.  His choice property was under the care of His choice people.  But they failed, they sinned and they disregarded every command of the Lord Who loved them and cared so tenderly for them.  So, God threw them out.  He removed them and scattered them to the farthest corners of the globe.  And that's just where the story begins.  

     Perhaps the hardest part to understand is not what God did by removing His people. Rather, what He has done by surrendering it to the squatters and usurpers who have come in a long line to manipulate, abuse and dominate the land called, "Holy".  

     Every world power that has come has left an indelible mark upon the land.  The archeological ruins clearly tell the tale of Phoenician, Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, Roman, Persian, medieval Christianity and Islamic influences that have all ravaged the land.  The latter has firmly established itself for the last 1,400 years.  

     In the last century, the land has seen a return of the divinely chosen tenants.  They have stepped back into the role of superintending the land as they were supposed to do so long ago.  But this time, they have had to "share" tenancy with a host of others.  This has been part of the reason there has been such trouble for the last 65+ years.

     The "property" is no longer derelict.  It truly has blossomed like a rose.  But the occupancy is still not clear.  But it will be.  Very soon.  But until it is, trouble, bickering, fighting, and bloodshed will continue.  Until the one who actually holds the deed returns to declare Himself as the clear and rightful owner, the pain and suffering will continue.  

     Until then, souls are still lost.  Millions of them.  But God is working on all the parties involved.  Muslims are being saved.  Jewish people are being saved.  God's love is real for all.  "All souls are mine..." the Lord said.  And He loves them every one.

  May God grant you a blessed Resurrection Day.  I can truly say, "The tomb is empty!"
