One Goal Reached, New Opportunities Arising

We rejoice with unbridled thankfulness to God for helping us reach the milestone of printing 1 million tracts in the Telugu language!  We cannot express just how wonderful it is to see the results growing every single day.  Thanks to all of you who have helped us in this outreach.

God's powerful Word and message of salvation are making inroads into the Indian culture as we've never seen it before.  It is almost impossible to keep track of those that are calling and inquiring about salvation.  The brothers and sisters in India are ecstatic as they are seeing thousands of people openly praying and repenting of their sins as they are given literature and a gospel message that tells them of Jesus and His substitutionary sacrifice for their sins.

One aspect of this outreach that is becoming more exciting every day is the fact that men and women from hundreds of miles away are now finding the tracts come into their grasp.  Because of this Pastors, Evangelists, Christian workers and ministries are calling for tracts so that they can join in the campaign of reaching souls.  It is so refreshing to see as men and women are taking the Gospel eagerly to their own people.  And the results they are seeing are stirring them to spread the word to more and more of their Christian friends.  We are seeing a growing wave of churches and workers who are joining with us to go to their own neighborhoods and villages.

Some of the brethren that are involved are focusing on the multiplied millions that are coming for the large Hindu pushkaram festival culminating in July.  Others, are developing organized plans for reaching whole villages with the literature then joining in outdoor meetings to preach the Gospel after the village has been saturated with the literature.  Unlike here in America, a "small" village in India may have more than 5,000 people!  So, after one or two days of literature distribution, a very large crowd will gather to hear the preaching and explanation of the Gospel message.  Pastors everywhere are excited at what God is doing as a result.

What do you think of when you see these squiggly little characters?

Did "strange little scribbles" come to mind?  What about "freedom, liberty, hope, peace and salvation"?  For those who can read this language of Oriyya, these are the things that were brought to mind.  As the one millionth Telugu tract rolled off the presses, at the same time an additional 200,000 Gospel tracts went to print.  But these 200,000 are being printed in the language of our neighboring state to the east, Orissa.  Orissa is the Indian state that has seen the greatest amount of persecution in India in the last 10 years.  But men and women have begged for tracts and Bibles and we are trying to provide them with those materials.  The churches, though suffering much, are sacrificing much to reach their neighbors and fellow citizens.  Please join with us in praise to God for this new door of opportunity!

Also, we have been contacted by believers in Calcutta about the possibility of printing the tracts in the Bengali language.  It is the fifth largest language group in the world!  Nearly 300 million people speak Bengali.  At this time we do not have available funds to dedicate to this need.  Would you pray about this and ask God to make this possible if it is His will?

Printing 100,000 tracts at a time allows us to produce 1,000 tracts for about $6.50.  The believers in India are working hard to evangelize their own people.  This is always the goal of missions.  And for about the price of a Value Meal at McDonalds, those 1,000 tacts can reach multiplied thousands of souls with the message of truth and eternal life.  Please join with us in this ministry. If you would like to help, please email and let us know.  We are grateful for your sacrifice and the care you have shown for the ministry in India and around the world.

Sincerely,

Beyond Frontiers
